About

Master of Fine Art, Goldsmiths College, University of London, 2006-2008

Sally’s practice engages critically with the shifting dynamics of class, consumerism, and social equity. Working predominantly with the perceived ‘cosiness’ and ‘softness’ of textiles, she draws viewers into encounters that unsettle, revealing uncomfortable realities and posing challenging questions. Her work frequently incorporates code, statistics, and references to graffiti as visual and conceptual devices, examining how information and voices are variously suppressed, obscured, or amplified within contemporary society.

Sally is part of two prestigious groups of exhibiting textile artists - The 62 Group and Prism.

As well as being a practising artist, she also designs textiles and produces garments for use in major feature films.

Sally lives and works in South East London.
